Nothing but 5 stars here. Daniel did a great job, and was up front about the schedule to get to my truck. Exceeded expectations and had my 2016 GMC 2500 diagnosed and fixed within a week. Honest and extremely knowledgeable. I wonβt hesitate to take my truck back should it have any other issues. Helpful with after service questions as well.

After a frustrating experience elsewhere, I took my 2015 Ram EcoDiesel to Appalachian Diesel Worksβand Daniel completely restored my faith in competent diesel repair. The previous shop had broken a glow plug and told me the only solution was an $8,600 cylinder head replacement. Daniel carefully assessed the situation and successfully extracted the broken glow plug without removing the head. That alone saved me thousands. He also properly diagnosed and repaired a turbo underboost issue that another shop had misdiagnosed. The truck is now running exactly as it should. What stood out most was Danielβs approach: β’ Accurate diagnostics β’ Clear communication β’ No upselling β’ No drama β’ Just skill and professionalism If you own a diesel and want it diagnosed and repaired correctly the first time, Appalachian Diesel Works is the place to go. Daniel earned my business and my trust.

The team here did an incredible job. They worked in a timely manner and very professional. The owner of the shop gave me his honest opinion on what did and did not need work. This is the only place Iβll take my truck moving forward 98 Dodge ram 2500

My husband and our family were passing through Asheville on I 40 pulling our 37 foot camper with our diesel truck. We were about 5 hours from home when our truck broke down on the side of the road. We reached out to this company and spoke with Daniel. He was so incredibly helpful!! Had our truck towed to him, he was able to repair it overnight and get us back on the road the next morning! Our camper had also been towed to a local campground, so therefore, we were stranded without a vehicle. The next morning, he was even nice enough to drive it to the campground and bring it to us. Such incredible customer service. We truly appreciate his kindness and knowledge in repairing our truck!! Highly recommend this business!!
